This political action-thriller recently celebrated its 30th-anniversary last month by finding new fans on Netflix. “A Secret Service agent is taunted by calls from a would-be killer who has detailed information about the agent – including the fact that he failed to save President John F. In the Line Of Fire was directed by Wolfgang Petersen. It was written by Jeff Maguire. It stars Clint Eastwood, John Malkovich, Rene Russo, Dylan McDermott, Gregory Alan Williams, Gary Cole, and the late John Mahoney.
