“We trust each other – right?” Prime Video has unveiled a teaser trailer for a series called Wilderness, a love story meets romantic thriller. Adapted from the novel of the same name by B.E. Jones, and directed for the screen by filmmaker So Yong Kim. The book’s description explains: “Shattered by the discovery of her husband’s affair, Liv knows they need to leave the chaos of New York to save their marriage. Maybe the road trip they’d always planned, exploring America’s national parks – just the two of them – would help heal the wounds. But what Liv hasn’t told her husband is that she has set him three challenges on their trip – three opportunities to prove he’s sorry… If he fails? Well, it’s dangerous out there in the wilderness; accidents happen all the time. And if it’s easy to die, then it’s also easy to kill.” Uh oh! Liv (Jenna Coleman) becomes the actress starring in Will’s bad dreams after she learns about his betrayal, and her heartbreak is swiftly followed by another emotion: fury. The couple embark on an American road trip Liv’s fantasized about since she was little, traveling from the Grand Canyon on through Yosemite National Park, before ending up with a hedonistic weekend in Las Vegas.
