Watch: VR Intimacy Gone Wild in Bambina’s ‘Anyway U Want It’ Short

Who’s up for some virtual reality fun?! This short film for a music video is hilarious and prescient, and it’s absolutely worth a quick 4 minutes of your time to watch and laugh about. LA-based choreographer turned filmmaker Erin Murray created this music video for the track “Anyway U Want It” from Bambina – available online now. Bambina is a musician from California (check out more of her music here) and also stars in the video as one of the two, ahem, participants. “A couple navigates the glitches & complications of virtual reality intimacy.” Yes, VR sex – coming soon to homes everywhere. Starring Bambina & Whitmer Thomas, and also guest starring Newman Wolf. This reminds me of the Black Mirror episode “Striking Vipers”, similar in some ways, though amusing in many other unique ways. And it’s similar to the short Vert with Nick Frost. A clever play on the VR era we’re entering, where scenes like this might not be uncommon.
