As 7 Little Johnstons fans have seen in Season 15 scenes on TLC, a big part of the storyline has been all about Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden bringing baby Leighton home. She is officially the newest family member, and her joining the fold is something that viewers have been waiting for.
While Leighton’s homecoming was supposed to be a joyous time of bonding for the whole family, it has been the complete opposite for Brice Bolden. Despite being the father of the baby, Brice can barely do anything between Liz Johnston, Amber Johnston, and Trent Johnston policing everything that he has been doing (and not doing).
Brice Treated Like A Second-Class Citizen In Scenes
While it’s true that Brice Bolden and Liz Johnston are first-time parents, and that there is a major learning curve when it comes to adjusting to a new baby, it’s easy to see that both Trent Johnston and Amber Johnston have way overstepped their boundaries as grandparents.
Amber and Trent have gone from being backup support to completely taking over with Leighton, and Liz has been just as bad to Brice, if not worse. Many people are disturbed by the way that Brice has been treated like a nuisance, especially when he is the father of the child.

While 7 Little Johnstons fans often criticize Brice every now and again, the vast majority of viewers are on his side regarding the disturbing way he has been treated in scenes, particularly as it relates to his own child, Leighton Bolden.
One recent example that viewers pointed to was when Brice had Leighton in his arms, and Liz went out of her way to insert herself, going as far as to take Leighton out of Brice’s arms for no reason.
