Beyoncé’s hair care line Cécred makes its debut
For months, Beyoncé‘s Beyhive has been buzzing with anticipation surrounding the launch of her new haircare line, and we’re pleased to announce the wait is finally over! Introducing Cécred, a lush range of hair products designed to honour global hair practices while putting hair health at the forefront.
The brand is launching an eight-piece Foundation Collection featuring patent-pending keratin recovery technology that revives and restores damaged hair of all textures. Whether you’re reaching for the Hydrating Shampoo or the Fermented Rice and Rose Protein Ritual, Cécred covers all your wash day needs.
“My entire life and career, I’ve worn my hair in so many different ways: natural, flat-ironed, braids, coloured, weaves, wigs. I want everyone to have the freedom to express their hair in ways that make them feel good, so I began by creating the essentials for hair and scalp health,” shares Bey in a press statement. “My vision is to be an inclusive force of excellence in the haircare industry while celebrating hair rituals across global cultures and helping dispel hair myths and misconceptions on all sides.”
As a continuation of her long-time philanthropic efforts, Cécred is teaming up with the Texas Hold ‘Em singer’s BeyGOOD Foundation to launch the BeyGOOD x Cécred fund. The annual $500,000 USD fund will support cosmetology school scholarships and salon business grants, doubling down on the brand’s dedication to the professional stylist community as well as promoting hair health.
