Get ready for a jam-packed Pride season.

Pride is back, people! From June through to September, Canada’s LGBTQIA2S+ community will convene in person once again. With so many events happening at all hours of the day, FASHION has created the ultimate coast-to-coast Pride 2022 calendar, so you’ll never miss out on the action.

We’ll be updating this list all summer long. But in the meantime, peruse our calendar of must-see Pride events happening in Toronto, Edmonton, Halifax, Vancouver and Montreal.

TORONTO

Pride Month in Canada’s largest city runs June 1 to 30.

2-Spirit Pow Wow

Enjoy community, food, music and dance at Toronto’s first 2-Spirit Pow Wow, hosted by 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations.

When: June 4, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: Downsview Park (15 Carl Hall Road)

In The Hytes: A Drag Brunch with Brooke Lynn Hytes

Kick off Pride Month with a drag brunch celebration of epic proportions with performances by local queens and the iconic Brooke Lynn Hytes.

When: June 4, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Harriet’s Rooftop (550 Wellington Street West, Suite C)

The Fierce & The Reckless – Pride 2022 Kick Off Party

Featuring DJ Valeroo, DJ Byrell The Great and a performance from Juno-nominated Ceréna. Plus, the Looking and Feeling Fierce mini-ball, hosted by The House of Monroe.

When: June 8 at 7 p.m. – June 9 at 12 a.m.
Where: El Mocambo (464 Spadina Avenue)

The Art of Drag

Hosted by DJ Astro, this drag performance will feature several sets from the likes of Twysted Miyake-Mugler, Devine Darlin’, Miss Shay Dee, Bangie, Manny Dingo and Tash Riot.

When: June 11, 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Where: MOCA Toronto (158 Sterling Road)

Bi Bi Baby

Join organizer Something for the launch of Bi Bi Baby, an art-dance party celebrating bisexuality. Expect visual and digital art, music, movement, live performance, lighting design and more.

When: June 11 at 9 p.m. – June 12 at 1 a.m.
Where: Space on King (300 King Street East)

Cabana Pool Party with Symone

Soak up the sun at Cabana Waterfront Patio on June 15 during the pool bar’s annual outdoor Pride affair with RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Symone. The fashion darling, who has slayed every red carpet from the Met Gala to the Emmys, will perform alongside Toronto’s own drag style trendsetters, Luna DuBois and Miss Fiercalicious.

When: June 15, 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: Cabana Pool Bar (11 Polson Street)

PlayDate: Pride Palooza

Head down to RendezViews for Toronto’s largest outdoor drag brunch, hosted by Tiffany Boxx.

When: June 18, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: RendezViews (229 Richmond Street West)

The Absolut Empires Ball Grand Finale

Grammy award winner Estelle will be performing live with dance artists like Kiesza, Dev, Delaney Jane, Laraw, and Adassa. Plus, catch drag queens Brooke Lynn Hytes, Symone, Denali, Utica, Priyanka, Tynomi Banks, Gia Metric and Adriana.

When: June 18, 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Where: The Phoenix Concert Theatre (410 Sherbourne Street)

Til Sunset: The Jam Down

Hanlan’s Point has been a hot spot for queer folks since the ‘70s, but Til Sunset: “The Jam Down” is more than a day at the beach. The party kicks off at 1 p.m. on June 19 with DJs all day and performances by a murderers’ row of Toronto Black drag excellence: Divine Darlin, Kimora Amour, Jada Shada Hudson and Prince Manny Dingo.

When: June 19, 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Where: Gibraltar Point Lighthouse (Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island)

Bi+ Pride: A BiFurious Celebration

Join the Bi+ Community Advisor Committee for a celebration of Burlesque, the fantasy of Drag, and the playfulness of prose.

When: June 24, 8:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: Rogers South Stage (Church and Gould Street)

FIT PRIMPIN

FIT PRIMPIN represents the collaborative efforts of two of Toronto’s best-loved dance parties, FIT and BIG PRIMPIN.

When: June 24, 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: The Don on Danforth (15 Chisholm Avenue)

Lavendar

Lavender is a party series for queer women and folks of all marginalized genders.

When: June 24 at 10 p.m. – June 25 at 2 a.m.
Where: OLG Central Stage (512 Church Street)

Trans Rally & Trans March

The march will head north on Church Street, west along Bloor Street, south on Yonge Street and east along Carlton Street before arriving at its final destination of Allen Gardens.

When: June 24; the rally begins at 7 p.m. and the march begins at 8 p.m.
Where: Starting at the intersection of Church Street and Hayden Street

Opening Ceremony: Spice it Up!

Get ready for a legendary ballroom night with the Queen of Dancehall, Spice, and DJ Blackcat. Father Twysted Miyake Mugler welcomes the Toronto Kiki Ballroom Alliance and the season two winners of HBO Max’s Legendary, The Iconic House Of Miyake – Mugler, to the stage.

When: June 24, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: TD Main Stage (1 Dundas Street East)

New Ho Queen: Asian Pride

New Ho Queen is a collective of creatives bringing you parties that celebrate Asian love. This event is hosted by Nikki Wong-Jing and Ms. Nookie Galore.

When: June 24, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Where: Wellesley Stage (15 Wellesley St E)

Lipstick Jungle

An all-ages fundraising event for The 519 featuring Miss Monique, Mistress Barbara, Jamie, Mightykat and Ticky Ty.

When: June 25, 1 p.m. – 11:59 p.m.
Where: Barbara Hall Park (519 Church Street)

Drag Ball Hosted by Lemon

Over 30 local drag queens, kings, gender performers and surprise guests from Drag Race Canada and Call Me Mother will grace the stage for one of the biggest drag shows Pride has ever seen.

When: June 25, 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: TD Main Stage

Living Out Loud Ball

The best ballroom talent will face off on the runwayfor trophies, cash and glory, with Father Twysted Miyake-Mugler hosting.

When: June 25, 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: Nathan Phillips Square (100 Queen Street West)

Dyke Rally & March

The march will head north on Church Street, west along Bloor Street, south on Yonge Street and east along Carlton Street before arriving at its final destination of Allen Gardens.

When: June 25, 1 p.m.
Where: Starting at the intersection of Church Street and Hayden Street

Sugarland – Aqua

The music festival returns June 25 and 26. For its opening night, don’t miss a performance by Canada’s Drag Race winner Icesis Couture.

When: June 25, 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: Sugar Beach (25 Dockside Drive)

Club Hunhouse

Pandemic-born, Club Hunhouse has gone from the computer screen to the stage. Created specifically for queer women, trans and non-binary folks, expect sounds from the future, a welcoming environment and familiar nods to Toronto’s queer history.

When: June 25, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Where: OLG Central Stage

AlternaQueer

Curated by Bathhouse & Body Works, come celebrate alternative drag and queer performers.

When: June 25, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Where: TD Main Stage

Strapped

Curated by Rosa, organizer promise to make “queer women and non-binary folks feel sexy, empowered and accepted.” Featuring DJ Ace Dillinger and a surprise performer.

When: June 25 at 10 p.m. – June 26 at 2 a.m.
Where: OLG Central Stage

Cherry Bomb Pride

Cherry Bomb has been packing dance floors in Toronto for the past 13 years. The monthly party for queer women and their pals, hosted by the DJ dream team Cozmic Cat and Denise Benson, has reached legendary status in Toronto nightlife and its Pride edition on June 25 is guaranteed to be a banger.

When: June 25 at 9 p.m. – June 26 at 3 a.m.
Where: The Axis Club Theatre (722 College Street)

Blockorama: Together Again

Blockorama’s got it all: DJs, drag, live music, and ballroom performances. What started as a makeshift block party held by the collective Blackness Yes! is now the largest and longest-running stage during Pride Toronto. The trailblazing party is meant to be a safe space for LGBTQIA2S+ African, Black and Caribbean communities.

When: June 26, 1 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: Wellesley Stage

YOHOMO

The collective is bringing a lineup of locals-only DJs and performance talent. Expect high-energy dancing, sets, visuals and vocals.

When: June 26, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Priyanka – LIVE!

Winner of Canada’s Drag Race season one, Priyanka, brings her debut EP Taste Test to the TD Main Stage.

When: June 26, 9:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: TD Main Stage

Pride Parade

Watch the 200+ contingents and over 200,000 marchers for the 2022 Pride Parade, the city’s 41st commemoration in person.

When: June 26, 2 p.m.
Where: Starting at the intersection of Bloor Street and Yonge Street

EDMONTON

To commemorate 40 years since its first Pride weekend, Edmonton’s “Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Celebration” will run all month long.

Pride Month Kick-Off with Kendall Gender

Party with Canada’s Drag Race season two star Kendall Gender and DJ God.

When: June 3 at 9 p.m. – June 4 at 3 a.m.
Where: Evolution Wonderlounge (10220 – 103 Street NW)

Fruit Loop Pride Reunited

This free and family friendly street fair will host a series of outdoor live performances, drag shows, dancers, photo booths, community booths, workshops, food trucks, beer gardens and late night dance parties.

When: June 3 at 5 p.m. – June 5 at 6 p.m.
Where: The Grindstone (10019 81 Avenue NW)

Bursting with Pride: FAB Pride Dance

Kick off June with the Bears and their admirers at their FAB-ulous Annual Pride Dance. The Fellowship of Alberta Bears (FAB) is a gay/queer/bi men’s registered not-for-profit society dedicated to providing a gathering space for individuals who appreciate and enjoy the brotherhood of the gay bear community.

When: June 3 at 9 p.m. – June 4 at 2 a.m.
Where: Strathcona Community League (10139 87 Avenue NW)

Tri Guys Presents: Pride Drag Brunch and Tea Dance

Come for brunch, local drag talent and dancing.

When: June 5, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Where: Social Central Hall Downtown (10909 Jasper Avenue NW)

Thank Pride It’s Friday

Star of Canada’s Drag Race season two, Pythia, is back in the house with DJ Chi Chi LaRue.

When: June 10 at 9 p.m. – June 11 at 3 a.m.
Where: Evolution Wonderlounge

Glow with Pride

Chi Chi LaRue is here for the first Glow event since 2019, alongside Juice Boxx from Canada’s Drag Race with Perry Medina and his body paint crew.

When: June 11 at 9 p.m. to June 12 at 3 a.m.

Fruit Loop Pride Recharged

Expect jaw dropping drag, aerial acts, pole and burlesque performances, all in support of Rainbow Refuge.

When: June 11 at 8 p.m. – June 12 at 2 a.m.

PrideFest: Glitter & Grease

This free community event features live music, beer gardens, food trucks, drag queens and DJs. Starring Luciana, plus Daniel Martin & The Infamous and Circle The Wolves.

Edmonton PrideFest

A free event featuring beer gardens, live music, food trucks, drag queens and DJs. But the main act? Canadian singer-songwriter Fefe Dobson.

Drag Mother to Bingo (And a Show)

Join Ladonna Cree for a game of bingo and a show

When: June 26 at 8 p.m. – June 27 at 12 a.m.

HALIFAX

Celebrate Pride Month in Atlantic Canada’s largest city from July 14 to 24.

QTBIPOC Showcase

Featuring burlesque, comedy, dance, drag and music.

The Montreal Pride Festival runs August 1 to 7.

An Evening with Alok Menon

Come for poetry, comedy and performance.

Opening Ceremony

For the official opening of its 15th edition, Montreal Pride welcomes Diane Dufresne and DJ Pierre Kwenders.
