Pharrell Williams looks to the moon and sea for Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection
Sailors have been using the stars for centuries to navigate uncharted waters, but we can guarantee they didn’t look this good while doing it. For Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection, creative director Pharrell Williams was inspired by “the slipstream of the seafarers who let the moon and the stars guide them to new horizons.”
Staged in Hong Kong along the Avenue of Stars on Victoria Harbour, the waterfront proved the perfect backdrop for the nautical clothing, as modernized sailor suits, flared pants and novelty headwear went down the runway. No boating skills required.
Joyin Rey explores what it means to be a young adult

As such, the young Canadian designer has named his new warm weather offering — which made its debut on his Instagram this week — “Dichotomy.” Oversized sleeves are paired with pleated waists. Long bubble skirts mix with cropped jackets. And many more opposites attract in a collection that shows a maturity well beyond Rey’s years.

Think poppy red, emerald green and beautiful beige.
Mikael D arrives in Montreal
Looking to invest in some Mariah Carey-approved sparkle? Mikael D is opening up its first Canadian atelier in Montreal’s Chabanel Garment District. The new retail space has a special place in designer Mikael Derderian’s heart as he migrated to Quebec in the ’90s, and later attended LaSalle College. After dressing the queen of Christmas herself, along with Halle Berry, Shakira and more, expect to be immersed in sparkles, shimmer and shine.
