Patrick Voss, founder and owner of Robot Monkey Lab, Inc., dba: VFX started making monsters in his early teens. Inspired by the original Planet of the Apes film, with its ground-breaking makeup effects, Voss made and started selling masks through local stores and newsletters.
In 2012, Voss designed and created “Side-Winder Sally”, a life-size zombie puppet that looks like it jumped on you and is attacking you. It was a rough prototype, but he had some sales at the TransWorld Halloween and Attractions Show in St. Louis, MO.
With the help of artist Doug Shaefer, Voss moved on to create “The Attack Line”, featuring Sally Zombie, Half Zombie Bob, Cob Goblin Scarecrow, and a werewolf. Schaefer took a Sally puppet and turned her into a clown – Psy-Co Clown was born and became the second best-selling puppet of the line.
ABOUT TIK TOK STAR MOLLY ZOMBIEE
Molly Zombie is a puppet that Jose Castro brought to life created by the nightmares of VFX Creates; for the entertainment and business industries, as well as for individuals. Molly is a highly detailed, realistic character puppet, created with haunt attractions and theme parks in mind, but also a great Halloween costume.
Jose and Molly superseded the Halloween season because Jose had the bright idea to take his zombie pet to feast on brains outside of the Halloween season, visiting bars, horror cons, events, and other holidays spectacular to find that Molly was the life of the party, taking pictures with people and showcasing her experiences.
Becoming a visual sensation, Molly and Jose became a viral hit on TikTok when Jose took Molly to a Raven’s and Buccaneers game, and security was not having it, when Molly was trying to take a bite out of him. 135 million views later, Molly Zombie partners up with different businesses and events showcasing products, celebrities, and event coverage all through the eyes of Molly the Zombie.
