In the new dark horror comedy Jethica, director Pete Ohs examines what happens when a stalker chooses to haunt his victim even after death. Played by Will Madden, the ghost of Kevin is a haunting specter, literally, of the trauma he inflicted upon his victim Jessica (Ashley Denise Robinson). But then he finds Benny (Andy Faulkner) and begins projecting his fears, even after death, onto someone new.
Jethica premiered at the 2022 edition of SXSW, where Dread Central’s Mary Beth McAndrews reviewed the film. She wrote, “Jethica is a powerful meditation on what it means to not only survive but to find support on even the darkest days. It’s a tale of tentative friendship and support when you need it most.”
Dread Central spoke with Madden, Faulkner, and Ohs about becoming ghosts, the horror of stalkers, and more.
Jethica is available now on digital and VOD.
