DreamWorks Animation recently announced a new horror 2D animated series, Fright Krewe, that will bring new terror to Peacock and Hulu later on this year. The series will consist of a 10-episode run and is created by Eli Roth (Hostel, Cabin Fever, The House With A Clock In Its Walls) and James Frey (Queen & Slim, American Gothic). Roth and Frey also serve as Executive Producers alongside Joanna Lewis & Kristine Songco. Co-Exexutive Producers are Shane Acker & Mitchell Smith.
Eli Roth, known for his appreciation of classic horror movies and pushing the boundaries of on-screen violence and gore, has horror fans very curious and excited about what he’ll bring to the table with Fright Krewe. Building tension and creating immersive atmospheres is what Roth does best!
Series Logline: An ancient prophecy and a Voodoo Queen put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the biggest demonic threat it’s faced in almost two centuries. But, honestly? Saving the world might be easier than becoming friends.
