Ajay Devgn‘s latest offering, Shaitaan, is a thrilling ride into the world of dark magic. The film garnered critical acclaim and was widely praised by audiences for its gripping narrative.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, it also stars R Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala, and Anngad Raaj. Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn Ffilms, and Panorama Studios produced the movie. Shaitaan is a Hindi remake of a Gujarati movie, Vash, and had its theatrical release on March 8, 2024. A recent report revealed the actors’ fee for the supernatural thriller.

Shaitaan cast: Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyothika’s fees revealed
As per reports, Ajay Devgn was paid a fee of $2 million (approx.) for his role in Shaitaan. This sum is modest considering his past box-office successes and illustrious career. In the movie, his character, Kabir Rishi, tries to fight off evil to save his daughter from his control.
R Madhavan, who portrays Vanraj Kashyap in the movie, exonerated the same aura required for the role, earning him praise from viewers. The actor charged $1 million (approx.) for his portrayal of the antagonist in the Vikas Bahl directorial.
During the trailer launch, he expressed admiration for his co-star, Ajay Devgn. He said, “I have been in the industry long enough to know that if there is a real Singham, it is him. I have been a huge fan of Ajay sir’s work, especially how he emotes subtly and the kind of roles he does.”
Apart from the leads, Jyothika and Janki Bodiwala also charged a decent amount for starring in the movie. While Jyothika earned a sum of $599K (approx.), Janki Bodiwala charged $239K – 359K (approx.) for joining the cast of Shaitaan. Additionally, the movie was produced within a budget of $7 million (approx.).
