She will be joined by Jake McDorman as Simone’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the Algorithm.
Mrs. Davis is written and executive produced by Damon Lindelof (Watchmen) and Tara Hernandez (Young Sheldon), with the latter set as its showrunner. Additional cast also includes Andy McQueen, Ben Chaplin, Margo Martindale, David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Katja Herbers, Chris Diamantopoulo, Ashley Romans, Tom Wlaschiha, and Mathilde Ollivier.
Executive producers are Owen Harris and Alethea Jones, who have also each directed multiple episodes. It hails from Warner Bros. Television.
This marks Gilpin’s second collaboration with Lindelof after working together on the controversial 2020 film The Hunt, which was co-written by the acclaimed TV creator. Gilpin gained recognition for her acclaimed role as Debbie Eagan in Netflix’s GLOW, which earned her three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
