Season 2 of Nathan Fielder’s twisted docu-comedy series, The Rehearsal, is set to air in 2025.
HBO confirmed The Rehearsal’s season 2 release date and aired a bit of first look footage in a sizzle real for the network’s 2025 slate that aired ahead of The Penguin’s season finale on Sunday night.
Season 1 of The Rehearsal, which aired on HBO in July 2022, stars Nathan Fielder as he helps ordinary people prepare for challenging conversations or life events. Using elaborate sets and actors, Fielder recreates real-life situations to help participants rehearse every possible outcome. HBO renewed The Rehearsal for a second season in August 2022, but details have remained in short supply since then. In 2023 then, Fielder starred in the Showtime series The Curse alongside Emma Stone.
The aforementioned sizzle reel for HBO/Max’s upcoming slate also included new footage of The White Lotus Season 3, The Righteous Gemstones Season 4, an Peacemaker Season 2.
