Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer dropped more than one bomb on viewers as it exploded onto screens over the weekend.
As the hype for the famed director’s latest film begins to subside as excited moviegoers check it out for themselves, word has been pretty universally positive. From the direction, to the performances, to the overall story being told, the blockbuster definitely delivered — despite at no time being Barbie. But it ain’t the bomb that’s got some censors feeling squeamish — it’s the bombshell! That’s right, if you’ve seen it, you know we’re talking about THAT Florence Pugh scene.

You may have heard that the 27-year-old actress bares all in the three-hour feature. It’s apparently the first ever nude scenes shot in IMAX — an historic achievement to be sure!
In some countries cinemas have condemned the film’s nude scenes, however. But it’s 2023. Rather than removing the scenes, they’ve come up with a different solution: they created a CGI dress over Miss Flo’s naked body!
That’s right, in the Middle East and India, where nudity is strictly forbidden, a sleek little black number was digitally added over the actress as she sat nude in a hotel chair. Ch-ch-check it out (below):

As bad as it looks in that still, it’s so much worse in motion. We mean, these guys don’t exactly have Weta working for them. Such a shame they can’t just let women #FreeTheNipple without freaking the eff out!
