Jason Kelce can’t help but lovingly take shots at his wife, Kylie Kelce, and it seems like he’s paying the price.
Jason, 37, couldn’t hold back on Thursday, December 5, replying to a user via X who wrote, “Kylie is the funniest Kelce there I said it.”
“Funniest looking…,” Jason replied.
When another fan jumped in and asked, “How comfortable is the couch that you’ll be sleeping on?” Jason jokingly answered, “It’s pretty broken in at this point.”
The hilarious exchange comes the same day Kylie, 32, admitted on the debut episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast that she arranges childcare for the couple’s three kids even when Jason is going to be in town.
“When I have to do something — coaching, something for Eagles Autism Foundation, something for podcast, a doctor’s appointment even — I will schedule childcare,” she said. “My husband could tell me 72 times that he is going to be in the house during the time when I have to leave it, [and] I will still schedule childcare.”
To be fair, she also stressed that it was not a knock on Jason’s parenting, and the couple have been known to publicly roast each other — all in good fun, of course.
“My husband is busier than he has ever been,” she said. “I see him less now in retirement than I did when he was playing football. We had a set schedule then, now it is an absolute free-for-all.”
But she didn’t hold back when Jason started talking about household chores on the November 20 episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which he cohosts with his brother, Travis Kelce.
“Kylie hates when I do the dishes,” he said. “She just has OCD about getting all the food off the plate before you put it in the dishwasher. The dishwasher instructions clearly state to not do that. It really gets clean without doing that. I’m just saying what the instructions say. I’m an instruction follower.”
At that point, Kylie jumped in from off-camera, yelling, “Stop f—ing exposing me, you d—!”
But even as the two trade barbs, they make it known that there’s plenty of love between the two. They debuted a romantic music video for their holiday song “Loud Little Town” last week, featuring cameos from their daughters, Wyatt, 5 Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1. (Kylie is pregnant with the couple’s fourth baby, also a girl.)
“As the holidays approach, cherish the moments you have with those around you, the memories will last a lifetime!” Jason wrote as he introduced the video via X.
Time will tell if that’s enough to keep him off the couch.
