Streaming is now home to the four extended episodes of Upload’s last season. According to Amell, the cast did not do proper promotion for season three due to the recent Hollywood strikes and wanted to give an announcement about the series that may imply there are two episodes in which everybody can stay from their houses and buy presents. He went on to say that this would be the last promising finale for all the shows, unlike many shows today worth being from the streaming world.

Exciting yet sad comments flooded the fan’s domain. It’s the cutest mess every time a beloved show is announced to be coming to an end: The Upload fandom is really feeling it. One upload user perfectly took an all-encompassing mouthful of whether to identify the mood: “So happy for a final season but so sad it’s the end. This show is a gem.” Those sentiments were echoed by dozens of others for the unique combination of sci-fi, romance, and comedy this show has had its own following.
The stream turned full-on comedic gold because many commented on just how funny the setup was. One joked, “The fact that he’s doing this from a Rite Aid parking lot is the most on-brand thing for this show.” Another added, “Only this cast would announce their final season like they’re just hanging out in a drugstore lot. I love them.”
Recalling the better moments of the stream must have opened up the soul a little for the group, getting them reflective again. When asked what their biggest takeaway from the show had been, Amell replied instantly: “Don’t trust anyone.” Quite fitting for a show soaked with corporate conspiracy and digital deception. They went on to answer honestly how many of them would throw themselves into the real world by uploading themselves. Andy Allo gave an unequivocal “Yes,” while others waivered, pondering the existential weight of the show’s central premise.
Discussions ran wild towards the future of Upload as Amell dropped hints of a comic version of the show highlighting the Ludds, the villains of the series. Not quite a brand-new season but a small token for the monumental world-building of Greg Daniels and a glimmer of hope for those not quite ready to close the book on the Upload universe.

Just as the stream seemed to draw to a close, and Amell’s ride to the airport awaited him, a feeling of heartfelt gratitude rippled through. This was not a corporate mandate; it was a collection of actors who genuinely love making this weird, wonderful show together. They rejoiced in their fortune at being able to give a proper ending to Nathan and Nora’s story and invited their fans to be part of the final watch party. So if you hear about viewing parties tonight, now you know. The digital afterlife is calling one more time wonders awaiting you on Prime Video.
