Family time truly became the highlight of Serena’s career! Posting a beautiful picture with her daughter Olympia Ohanian, Serena called their joint appearance “fun and cute” while admitting that “the little one kinda stole the show.” From there, the mother-daughter duo teamed up with country music legend Trisha Yearwood to take peach-glazed chicken tacos on “a memorable culinary adventure,” as Serena put it.

The Instagram post shows various snaps from the food preparations, during which time Olympia was very much involved in the kitchen. Williams’s eldest daughter, at 6 years old, was very much at ease in front of the camera, carrying the charm that seemingly runs in the family’s genes. While this is far from the little girl’s first public appearance—they’ve been to tennis matches courtside and to Serena’s social media as well—this cooking venture acted as their far more formal collaboration.
Comments poured in from the fans and celebrities alike. One commenter gushed about Olympia: “She’s even more beautiful than her mama!” The statement sparked a mini-debate in the comments about the traits of mixed-race children, with some commenters arguing it should be taken with the highest form of compliment. Another comments, “This is one of the best crossovers I’ve ever seen,” mixing sport with music, and family entertainment.

Another was a fully unrelated message about trains in Hindi, roughly translating to a generic transportation announcement. In spite of all this uproar, the Instagram spam issues, one can only guess.
