Celebrities are just like Us and embrace fall with open arms from September through November with trips to pumpkin patches — and apple orchards.
Stars including Jennifer Lopez and Busy Phillips have been known to make trips to local pumpkin patches annually, either solo or with their families. James Van Der Beek and his children also love a good pumpkin stroll and can’t get enough of the autumn season.
“I grew up back East in Connecticut where the leaves would change colors. I miss that smell. I really do miss it,” Van Der Beek, who shares Olivia, Joshua, Annabel, Emilia, Gwendolyn and Jeremiah, with wife Kimberly Van Der Beek, exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2020 after moving from L.A. to Texas. “Also Halloween and seeing Halloween through my kids’ eyes, how excited they get about the costumes. I was that kid. I made all my costumes by hand months in advance.”
