And now, in an interview, her husband, Tom Ackerley, has given some insight into their sweet relationship away from the chaos of their Hollywood careers.
Firstly, if you don’t know much about Tom, that’s probably because his work in Hollywood is focused mostly behind the scenes.
As you’ll probably know, LuckyChap has produced some major movies, including Barbie, I, Tonya, and Saltburn. And now, as the notoriously private couple take a quick break from the spotlight to work on their next projects, Tom has shared some rare insight into married life.
In Margot’s recent interview with The Sunday Times, Tom revealed that they spend “24 hours a day” together but still manage to draw the line between business and pleasure.
“It’s seamless,” he told the outlet when asked about their work/life balance. “We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.”
While you might expect that the couple would butt heads while working so closely together, Tom said their only disagreements stem from the fact that she is Australian and he’s British — often arguing over their preferred British and Aussie snacks like Penguins and Tim Tams.
Away from Hollywood, Tom and Margot are launching their new gin brand, Papa Salt. While talking about her latest venture, Margot said the alcohol business feels like child’s play in comparison to the stress of movie-making.
Speaking of simplicity, Margot has previously said that one of her favorite things about being married to Tom is that he doesn’t care for Hollywood’s extravagance.
