However, she admitted she and the 26-year-old musician do have differences, which she credited to their slight age gap.
“He looks at life really differently than I do,” Miley said of Maxx. “He grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters… Honestly, he’s raised our dog off Reddit. I’m like, ‘Are you sure we’re supposed to be doing this?’ And he’s like, ‘On Reddit it says ‘blah, blah, blah.””
But the “We Can’t Stop” singer had no qualms when it came to working with Maxx on her upcoming album, as she’s previously sought inspiration for her past hits from those close to her.
“That’s how me and my ex-husband met each other,” she told the magazine, referencing ex Liam Hemsworth. “I’ve always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much.”
