Las Vegas Police Recently Shared Information About An Incident Taking Place On December 26
Currently, one fan-favorite figure from the show was reported as being in legal trouble. This came out after the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shared details of a homicide case.
The incident reportedly took place on December 26 around 11:20 PM local time. Reportedly, an inmate was found “lying motionless inside a cell.”
Recently, KTNV shared that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shared that the inmate “was suffering from apparent blunt force injuries.” After being offered aid and calling for medical staff, the inmate was determined to be dead at the scene. According to an investigation, it was determined that the inmate and his roommate had a physical altercation.
The roommate was later identified as “41-year-old Chad Ollinger.” He has since been taken into custody, where he was reportedly “rebooked for Open Murder.” According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Ollinger was in custody since an October 27 arrest.
This was on a charge of arrest of a fugitive from another state. Ollinger also reportedly faces a contempt of court charge, citing jail and court records.

As seen on the show, Chad is Duane Ollinger’s son from Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch. Throughout the series, he had undertaken various efforts, from selling his crop-dusting business and family home to investigating underground caverns firsthand, to help with the operation.
Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch is a Discovery series revolving around the titular Utah ranch. As seen on the show, Duane Ollinger and his team have uncovered a variety of underground caverns, while investing all that he’s had.
As previously reported, Chad was arrested back in February earlier this year over charges including “driving while license invalid with previous convictions and instanter for speeding going 10% or more over the limit.” He was also listed as a “missing endangered person” by local authorities back in July.

Taking to social media, at the time, various fans wondered if the Chad in the story was indeed the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch cast member or someone with the same name. Many fans commented that the details lined up between the two, with some citing reports claiming that the Ollinger cited in the records had the same middle name. Some comments included:
