Jess Edwards Issues Statement Following Tuesday’s Drama
Jess Edwards caused more drama on Tuesday night on The Bachelor. Maria Georgas had a rose already and decided to steal time with Joey Graziadei during the cocktail party. Jess did not like that. She had not spoken with Joey yet and was concerned it could mean she would be sent home at the rose ceremony.
When Maria returned to the other ladies, Jess told her how disrespectful she was. It got elevated and at one point Jess stormed off and called her a b*tch. Needless to say, Jess did get a rose that night.
However, since that episode aired, she has been getting a lot of backlash for her treatment of Maria. Many say that Jess did the same thing on night one when she stole Joey away twice and bragged about getting the first kiss.
After all the hate, Jess went to Instagram Stories to issue a statement.
What Did Jess Say?
Jess Edwards shared a group photo of the ladies on Joey’s season with a statement overlayed on it. She began by saying it was hard to watch. She continued to say that she was upset about losing time with The Bachelor on multiple occasions due to drama.
Jess realizes that is not an excuse but she let emotions and anger get the best of her. She went on to say she wholeheartedly regrets her actions.
She said she does not condone bullying or name-calling and that apologies were made immediately. Jess also said that it is hard to watch things play out on television and not see it to the full extent of what really happened.
Jess wrapped up her statement reminding fans that there are conversations that happened during and after filming that only they know about. She reiterated that they are humans with real feelings.
