“We’re connected – maybe I can save him…” But what is the connection? Apple TV has debuted the official trailer for another mysterious new thriller series titled Before, starring Bill Crystal in the lead role as a psychiatrist. “A troubled boy and his tortured psychiatrist. You’ve never seen Billy Crystal in a role like this.” It will be streaming on Apple TV later in October. Before is a 10-episode atmospheric, character-driven psychological thriller about Eli, a child psychiatrist who, after recently losing his wife, Lynn, encounters a troubled young boy who seems to have a haunting connection to Eli’s past. What does he know? What is the connection? You’ll have to watch this to find out. In addition to Billy Crystal, the main series cast includes Judith Light, Rosie Perez, Jacobi Jupe, Maria Dizzia, and Ava Lalezarzadeh. Damn the kid in this looks super creepy! It seems like another ghost story and/or grief story with unnerving supernatural twists.
