The film centers on Lucas Page (William Magnuson), whose YouTube channel “Man Finds Tape” has gained attention for showcasing eerie home videos discovered in unexpected places. What begins as unsettling internet fodder takes a dangerous turn when Lucas contacts his estranged sister, Lynn (Kelsey Pribilski), after uncovering surveillance footage that appears to capture a real murder in their Texas hometown. Reluctantly returning home, Lynn agrees to help investigate—only to find herself pulled into a mystery far older and more disturbing than either of them anticipated.
As Lynn digs deeper, she uncovers a decades-old supernatural phenomenon woven into the fabric of the town itself, casting suspicion on nearly everyone around her. The situation escalates with the arrival of a volatile stranger (Brian Villalobos), whose destructive presence forces Lynn to confront her own family’s connection to a terrifying local legend—one tied to a deadly monster said to stalk the outskirts of Larkin, Texas.
