‘Predator’ Prequel ‘Prey’ Gets First Tense Trailer

We never thought that the pistol that was given to Danny Glover at the end of Predator 2 was never going to go anywhere, but here we are. The dates with Prey line up perfectly with the ones scrawled on that pistol. Today we finally have a look at the Predator prequel, Prey.

Things immediately become tense when two warriors are being chased across an open field with the Predator close behind.

The synopsis for Prey goes like this:

Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, “Prey” is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

Prey lands exclusively on Hulu beginning Aug. 5.
