Skydance Games announced that the Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra release date has been delayed. However, the company assures fans they won’t have to wait too much longer for the upcoming Captain America and Black Panther-led video game.
When is the new Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra release date window?
As announced on X by Skydance Games (H/T @Wario64), Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will now launch in early 2026. While a specific release date has not yet been announced, it seems fans can expect the anticipated game to come out between January and April 2026. The reason for the delay is to give the developers a bit more extra time to polish the game.
“Taking this additional time will allow us to add more polish, and make sure we give you the best possible experience, and one that lives up to our vision,” says the statement.
The statement concludes that the company has “some exciting things in store” and will share more news regarding Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra “soon.” Details on exactly this update will be revealed is not stated, but several events are occurring this summer, like Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase. It is possible “soon” can be as early as these events happening in June. We’ll just have to wait and see.
