Spider-Man is teaming up with Iron Man and other Avengers in a brand-new Marvel animated TV special that launched on Disney+ today. The Halloween-themed crossover brings characters from two Disney Jr. shows together for a new adventure.
Titled Marvel’s Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up!, the special is now available on Disney+. The release follows its broadcast premiere on Disney+ on September 24.
This marks a special crossover of two Disney Jr. shows: Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends and Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, pairing Peter Parker’s crew with Tony Stark’s team for the spooky adventure.
Both crossovers serve as a preview to Avengers: Mightiest Friends, arriving in 2027. Disney+ announced the special at D23, where they revealed the Season 7 renewal for Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends.
The Marvel heroes and villains featured in the Halloween team-up
The Halloween adventure features Peter Parker as Spidey alongside Tony Stark as Iron Man. The Avengers lineup also includes Hulk, Captain America, Black Panther, and Wasp. Joining the heroes on the opposite side are the villains Hallows Eve and Jack O’Lantern.
Musicians Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy and Este Haim of HAIM voice the classic villains Jack O’Lantern and Hallows’ Eve. Stump also served as the composer and wrote original music for the adventure.
“Spidey and the Avengers’ Halloween plans are turned upside down by the mysterious Hallows’ Eve, who plays magical tricks on trick-or-treaters and plans to ruin Halloween forever. The heroes must put an end to the witch’s Halloween terror, though they can only succeed if Hulk can overcome his fear,” reads the synopsis.
Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends is Marvel’s most-watched TV show on Disney+, with nearly 1.3 billion hours streamed worldwide. Its four seasons are currently streaming on the platform, while the fifth season recently premiered on July 13, 2026.
Season 6 and Season 7 are slated to release in 2027 and 2028.
