Jimmy Fallon Counts Down to Mother’s Day With a Plug for His Own Children’s Book

Jimmy Fallon dropped a helpful nudge for anyone still figuring out their Mother’s Day gift. The Tonight Show host posted on X today with a five-day countdown to the holiday and pointed followers straight to “Everything Is Mama,” his 2017 children’s book.

The post was short, casual, and very Fallon. “Only five days ’til Mother’s Day – do you have your gift yet?” he wrote, tagging the message with #FallonBookClub and sharing a purchase link. The book is available at most major retailers, so finding it shouldn’t be a problem.

The book itself is a total charmer for the age group it’s aimed at. A baby is learning words. A dog? Mama. A chair? Mama. Dad’s face? Also mama. It’s silly and sweet, and it’s one of those rare board books that parents genuinely enjoy reading aloud too. That’s a harder thing to pull off than it sounds.

This isn’t Fallon’s first trip to the children’s book aisle either. He published “Your Baby’s First Word Will Be DADA” back in 2015. That one played on the same playful mama-versus-dada rivalry. It found a big audience with young parents, and “Everything Is Mama” followed two years later. They actually make a really fun gift set.

The timing here is no accident. Mother’s Day is five days away. Online orders can still make it in time, but that window closes fast. Fallon’s post lands right at that moment. Last-minute shoppers are just starting to sweat. His book is now top of mind for exactly that crowd.

A children’s book is honestly a pretty great gift for the occasion. It’s thoughtful. The kids get something fun to hear at bedtime. Whoever’s doing the buying looks like they planned ahead. That’s a win all around.

Fallon brings some genuine experience to this subject too. He and his wife Nancy Juvonen are parents to two daughters. So the whole “mama” theme isn’t just a clever idea. He’s lived that stage of life firsthand, and it comes through in the writing.

Outside of children’s books, Fallon is of course still the host of The Tonight Show on NBC. He’s been at that desk since 2014. The show is known for its games, its celebrity bits, and Fallon’s signature enthusiasm. That same energy shows up in his writing. A lip sync battle or a stubborn baby – the vibe is always the same. Fun, first.

The hashtag #FallonBookClub ties his book promotions to his broader TV brand. It’s a casual touch that keeps things connected without feeling like a hard sell.

“Everything Is Mama” is available at major bookstores and through the link Fallon included in his post. Mother’s Day is five days out. Still plenty of time to pull it together.
