LeToya Luckett-Coles proved in two jaw-dropping moments why she remains influential in style every second of the BET Awards 2025. The singer/actress took to Instagram to celebrate and gush over the memories while putting her stylists on a pedestal.

In the picture, an all-glowing Luckett-Coles is seen wearing a black and gold Falguni Shane Peacock gown that hugged her curves with utter luxury, detailing and sheer panels creating even more drama. Styled by J Bolin, the gown perfectly complimented her sleek blonde bob, further establishing her as one of those red carpet queens. Outdoors, with many other stars attending, this served as an excellent setting against which she could spill star energy.
Fashion practically became her last name that day! In a chameleon-like manner, she also flaunted a bronze Kendrell White gown. The caption, however, went somewhat wild about how good a time they must have: “You owe us NOTHING!! We had the most amazing time! Give them their 🔟ssssssss 🙌🏽.”

Someone tried to spoil the glory with a horrid, racially-charged comment; however, it was immediately shut down by the commenters, who reminded that this should be a platform for celebrating Black excellence. One brave fan sarcastically urged, “Go MENTION that on the right POST cause this the WRONG one!” further cementing the admiration and love for Luckett-Coles.
More than just fashion was involved during this BETs weekend: It was a personal victory for Luckett-Coles, who since Destiny’s Child has been evolving and rotating through the industry, hitting the very height of respect as a solo artist and actress. The vibe of the post was of someone who was more than just attending an awards show-who was owning it.
And honestly, can your carpet be oppressed when you set it ablaze in two show-stopping looks? Luckett-Coles did just that and more, setting the night ablaze as one of the best-dressed stars.
