A Bachelor alum has been dealing with nonstop bleeding for two months, which turned into a need for major surgery. The alum, from Nick Viall’s season of the show, had a hysteroscopy after experiencing “two months of nonstop bleeding post-miscarriage.”
Vanessa Grimaldi Deals With Big Surgery
Vanessa was on Nick Viall’s season of the show, and the couple broke off their engagement soon after their season ended. She went to her Instagram to share the detail of what happened, saying:
“After two months of nonstop bleeding post-miscarriage, I had to get a hysteroscopy to remove retained tissue. And what was the only thing that distracted me from the weight of it all? Talking about @thesummeriturnedpretty with the doctors and nurses and somehow starting a poll to see who was Team Conrad vs. Team Jeremiah. 😂 (Spoiler: nobody had watched the show yet lmao.)”
What Has Been Going On With Vanessa?
She actually had two miscarriages in the last year, which is what caused her these issues. Vanessa does have one son who is three years old named Winston, with her husband Joshua Wolfe. She revealed the last big surgery she had was her c-section. Vanessa went on to explain the emotions she was feeling about this new surgery:
“The last time I was strapped down for an operation was during my C-section with Winston and I had a full-blown panic attack on the table. So this time, right before they sedated me, I found myself quietly fighting back tears. I kept thinking…this is the last physical connection I’ll have to this pregnancy.”
Cut to the morning after: I still feel a strange mix of emptiness and hope. But physically, I’m feeling great. No cramping, light spotting, and a huge sense of relief that it’s finally done.Surgery went super well. My doctor, Dr. Madar, and the entire team at The Jewish General Hospital @ciussscentreouest were INCREDIBLE!!!! Truly can’t thank them enough!”
The Bachelor alum went on to explain that the physical recovery wasn’t that bad. The issues she has been having is emotionally recovering from two miscarriages and then this surgery. It sounds like Vanessa is going to be okay, though.
