Bachelor In Paradise star Alexe Godin came under fire from viewers for keeping Jeremy Simon’s secret from Bailey Brown. While Bailey was on a date with Andrew Spencer, Jeremy called Susie Evans to ask her to come back to the show. Susie declined, and Jeremy continued his relationship with Bailey like the call never happened.
Several of the other contestants, including Alexe, knew about the phone call. But it was several episodes in before Brian Autz told Bailey about it. Bailey and Jeremy are among the five couples remaining despite the betrayal.

Alexe Shares Why She Kept Jeremy’s Secret From Bailey
Alexe Godin earned the First Impression Rose from Grant Ellis on Season 29 of The Bachelor. But she didn’t earn his final rose. She was sent in Week 5. He was briefly engaged to Juliana Pasquarosa.
Alexe joined Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise hoping to find a connection with other rejected contestants from the show. She’s paired up with Andrew Spencer and heading to the finale with Jeremy and Bailey, and the other remaining couples.
She was a guest on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast earlier this week to share her side of the Bailey and Jeremy drama. She said that in hindsight, she should have told Bailey about Jeremy’s phone call to Susie. However, she had a good reason why she didn’t.
In a surprising admission, she revealed that she and Jeremy had become close friends before Season 10. “I considered Jeremy my closest friend on the beach. We had talked every day, we FaceTimed every day like three weeks coming up to ‘Paradise.’ He told me who he was interested in, being both Bailey and Susie… I would call him my best friend,” she said.
Alexe added, “I didn’t have a friendship with Bailey before ‘Paradise.’ I know we were on the same season, but, you know, different groups of friends.”
According to Alexe, Jeremy assured her that he would tell Bailey about the phone call but never did.

Alexe Godin considered Jeremy Simon her best friend before Paradise. Where do they stand now? It seems the two aren’t on good terms.
She said that she tried to reach out to both him and Bailey but never received a response. “Throughout the season, I made sure to reach out to both to check up on them. And when all of the heat kind of went to us, even that night I checked up on him. I was a little disappointed that I never received a text or anything.”
However, she isn’t sure she wants to be friends with him now. “The things he said about Bailey, it’s tough to say, like, is this someone that I would still want to have in my life,” Alexe said.
