Carrie Underwood Shares Update On New Baby

It has been a long road for Carrie Underwood since she won Season 4 of American Idol. Not only has she won Grammys, but she has also become a musical superstar. She has her own clothing line, residencies, and fans adore her. Carrie returned to Idol last season to be a judge, which has been hit or miss for some viewers. Yet, it does appear that she will return for another round. At the same time, Carrie is a mother to two boys, Isaiah and Jacob, and she has talked about adding more to her family. However, she is so incredibly busy, it is not the best idea at the moment.

Fortunately, she has her farm, which she loves, and she is always adding new animals to it. This has filled her heart and makes her incredibly happy. She recently brought a lamb on board, and it is the tiniest little thing. He was born on her farm the night of the Idol finale. Therefore, Carrie and her family named him after the season’s winner, Jamal Roberts. Yet, they call him ‘Baby J,’ and he was caught posing in the grass and almost appeared to be smiling. Carrie is definitely in her mama era with these little loves, as she proudly shared a snap.

Since Baby J came into the world in late May, he has grown so much, but is still a little bean. Carrie Underwood shared that she loved coming to see him and getting snuggles. However, he seems to be very independent now, leaving his mother’s side to explore. When Carrie first showed him off, he was scraggly and barely had any wool. Now, he is fluffed out and cuter than ever.

Fans Love Jamal

Seeing Carrie Underwood’s new addition and love for animals only made fans love her even more. They appreciated how much she doted on and cared for them. From day one, the comments flowed in, praising Baby J and his sweetness:

Unfortunately, not everyone was on board with Carrie Underwood honoring Jamal Roberts with a farm animal. They thought it spoke volumes about how she really felt about Jamal, but it seems that she did it all in good fun. It was sweet, and he happened to arrive the night of the finale, so it all worked out.
