Recently, Geary’s real-life husband, Claudio Gama, shared how the couple celebrated a recent milestone. A few General Hospital alum also shared their love with the couple.
February Is An Especially Romantic Time For The General Hospital Star
Geary is arguably best known to soap opera fans as Luke Spencer on General Hsopital. He originated the role back in 1978.
Over the years, Geary’s character, originally intended to last 13 weeks, became known for his love story with Laura Webber. Soon, the two would become known as one of the most famous supercouples in soap history. Geary would last appear on the soap in 2017.
In real life, Geary has a love story all his own. Back in 2020, he married his longtime partner Claudio Gama. The two live together in Amsterdam, Netherlands, having lived there since 2017.
As recently noted by Soaps, February is a romantic time for the two. Not only is it the month of Valentine’s Day, it also marks the anniversary of both their marriage and the first time they met.
Taking to Instagram, Gama shared a few romantic posts with fans. In one, Gama could be seen telling their cat Max it was “Papa’s” anniversary. As he mentioned, it was “six years ago” that “Papa Claudio” said “yes.”

In the caption, Gama wrote, “Greetings and happy week to all from Amsterdam. Winter days, it’s cold but dry. This week is our anniversary week. Tony and I met 30 years ago in February and got married 6 years ago, also on February.”
“Two anniversary’s to celebrate. I have to find a good gift and make some special food. Maybe bake another cake.”
Gama later shared a follow-up post about the couple’s anniversary celebrations. Included were images of champagne and pizza as the couple celebrated. As he wrote in the caption, “Our anniversary is in full party mode. Good friends, nice booze, and pizza. It’s mid week. I decided not to cook.
“I will have a big dinner on the weekend. Then, more people can join. Thank you all for all the lovely wishes from Tony, Max, and me. A toast to you all stay safe and healthy.”
Many fans also shared their love in the comments. In addition, the post also received comments from other General Hospital cast members.
Notably, Finola Huges wrote, “Happy Anniversary you two!! Love you both so much.” Gama responded, “@finolafilona. Thank you, Finola we are having a lovely time. Missing you always. Big hug.” Other comments included:
