Tim McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, have been happily married for almost thirty years and share three beautiful daughters. Yet, being nepo babies comes with a price, and that means you are constantly compared to your talented parents. It does not help if said parents are also genetically gifted. Such was the case with one of Tim’s girls, who battled an eating disorder, which resurfaced thanks to Ozempic. Keep reading for more details on what she shared.
Tim McGraw’s Daughter Used Ozempic For The Right Reasons
Ozempic was initially prescribed to help those with type 2 diabetes. It is supposed to change lives and make diabetes much more manageable. Yet, it eventually became a fad weight-loss drug, and celebrities became obsessed with it. Tim McGraw’s daughter, Gracie, was prescribed it for her PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). This can cause a bevy of different symptoms, but she took the GLP-1 for weight loss for three years. Initially, Gracie, now 29, was extremely thankful, as it really changed her life.

Gracie McGraw had this to say regarding the initial high and how she was received amid her extreme Ozempic weight loss:
“At that time I thought it was the best decision I ever made because I finally lost weight and got skinny. As soon as I started shedding a few pounds I noticed how people looked at me differently on the streets, in my friend groups and family, and in my own job. I got more opportunities when I lost weight than I ever have had in my life.”
However, all that glitters is not gold, as Gracie began to notice her disordered eating rearing its ugly head. She had spent so much of her life being shamed and being called out for her weight. Gracie was slammed as overweight, and she was tired of being compared to her sisters and parents. Moreover, people would question if she had the same genes as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. She saw how skinny she was getting, but almost wanted more:
“All of a sudden skinny culture is back and I realized holy crap I have been feeding into my eating disorder this whole time under the guise of this miracle shot. I think it was probably one of the worst things I’ve ever done for myself, looking back.”
It Helped As Much As It Hurt
Gracie McGraw admitted that Ozempic helped her symptoms a tremendous amount. However, it altered her brain so much. So, as much as it helped her, it hurt her, too. Fortunately, she has so much support from Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Her dad posts about her events and projects anytime something comes up, and followers adore her to no end. In a recent posting, she received an immense amount of support:
- 💖 you look amazing princess
- You are a stunning combo of your parents.
- Like an old fashioned Hollywood Starlet… gorgeous!!!
- Oh my goodness! You are your beautiful Mommas twin ! She is my favorite🥹🌸Enjoy enjoy
