‘Unexpected’ Falen Forces Bella To Address Dating Expectations

Unexpected star Falen Vaughn has forced her daughter, Bella Vaughn, to address comments on more than one occasion. Now, she is making her talk about dating and what she wants out of a partner at just sixteen years old. Keep reading for more on what Bella shared.

Falen Keeps Forcing Bella To Speak

Bella Vaughn and her baby daddy, Hunter Johnson, were featured in Season 7 of Unexpected. The duo had a baby, Wes, when she was 15 and he was 13, which led to massive controversy. Moreover, viewers felt that Bella’s mother, Falen, was living vicariously through her. They believed that she had a thing for Hunter and was encouraging teen pregnancy. After the season ended, Bella and Hunter split, only to get back together for a brief time. He now has a new girlfriend, and Falen is pressing Bella to share what she wants in a mate.

They did a video and discussed a lot of pressing issues. At this point, Falen claims that she does not want Bella to date at all. However, this is unavoidable because she is a teenager:

“You guys know I don’t want her dating, I just don’t. But I also don’t feel like she should have to put her life on hold either. So, we’re just gonna kind of play it by [ear] and see how things go.”

Bella did note that the most important person in her life and main priority is her son, Wes. Yet, Falen did not really give Bella a chance to explain much, as she told the camera what she thought her daughter would say or do. It was as if she was living Bella’s life and was her voice. The Unexpected teenager and her mother have always been very close. At the same time, fans want to hear from the teen mom herself, if that is what she wants.

Hunter and Bella did have a brief engagement, but that seems to have been planned by Falen. He is currently with his father, Casey Johnson, who wanted him away from the Vaughns.

Mixed Messages

Unexpected fans were very confused by Falen Vaughn and her mixed messages. On one hand, she says she does not want Bella to date, but on the other, she allowed her to shower with Hunter days after her c-section. She also had no problem with Bella not being on birth control and being intimate less than a week postpartum:

• I’m sorry? Falen doesn’t want her daughter dating but had no problem with her daughter jumping in the shower with Hunter on TV?!
• If Falen was putting her grandson first, none of this would be happening. Not the show, these posts, or her arrest. Falen should have put her daughters first instead of her Teen Mom fantasies, but that ship has sailed.
