There is a new Shark Tank episode tonight, with three very different products up for grabs. These include truck protection from dogs, sheer designer socks, and a bed headboard that eliminates allergens. However, there is also a food product called Jane Foodie, which offers frozen meals.

What Is Jane Foodie On Shark Tank?
Jane E. Carroll founded the food company Jane Foodie, and she brings her ideas to Shark Tank tonight. This is actually a big change for Jane, as she was previously well-known for a completely different business. Before this, Jane created Boxed in Blooms floral arrangements, which caught Oprah Winfrey’s attention.
Boxed in Blooms was named one of “Oprah’s Favorite Things” when it appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2005. This put Jane’s name out there, and her work was showcased in PEOPLE and InStyle. She also had high-profile clients like Elton John and Halle Berry.
However, after the 2008 economic downturn shut down her business, Jane looked at other areas as an entrepreneur. The new venture is all about food. Jane started experimenting in this world in 2015 and launched Jane Bakes that year. That was a line of 100% all-natural cookies sold in sustainable packaging at stores like Whole Foods.
She also opened Jane Cafe in Yonkers, New York, and offered catering for Lionsgate Studios. This is when she came up with her idea for Jane Foodie, which is flash-frozen comfort foods that are “nourishing.” She launched it in 2023 as a self-owned company.
In late 2024, she partnered with FreshDirect, bringing its signature soups to the delivery platform. Fox News also featured Jane Foodie in its holiday gift guide in December 2024. Now, she is bringing her product to Shark Tank.
