The central storyline follows an outspoken and strong woman, Yong Soo-Jung, who dreams of becoming a modern business magnate. She crosses paths with Yeo Eui-Joo (Seo Jun-Young), who trusts her with his life.
The newly released trailer for Brave Yong Soo-Jung showcases Yoon Soo-Jung sparring in a boxing ring with another woman. The series is a romantic revenge drama showcasing Soo-Jung’s journey in her professional career and matters of love. Choi Yeon-Geol serves as the writer of the series, while director Lee Min-Soo helms the K-drama.

MBC K-drama Brave Yong Soo Jung follows the story of a strong woman named Yong Soo-Jung, who dreams of becoming a modern-day business industrialist or tycoon. She is inspired by the teachings of Im Sang-Ok, a prominent trade merchant in the Joseon Dynasty. In the trailer, Soo-Jung spars with another woman in the boxing ring as Yeo Eui-Joo cheers her on.
The K-drama also released a brand new poster, teasing more about Soo-Jung’s character. She is a ten-year veteran shopping show host. She exudes charisma and style as she sits on her bike, wearing a rider jacket. Born in the Year of the Dragon, Soo-Jung is extremely easygoing and innocent. Her honest and straightforward personality gets her the attention of everyone at the workplace.
The caption alongside the poster says, “Tragic heroine? That’s not my style!” Teasing Soo-Jung’s character, the production team said (translated by Soompi), “Yong Soo Jung is a character who lives by the motto, ‘If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.’ She bravely overcomes any trials that come her way. The strong-willed character of Yong Soo Jung and actress Uhm Hyun Kyung will create fantastic synergy.”
Meanwhile, Brave Yong Soo Jung is Uhm Hyun-Kyung’s first project after becoming a mother. Some of her popular roles include dramas like Second Husband, A Man in a Veil, Defendant, and more. Meanwhile, Seo Jun-Young has also contributed to popular projects, including Apple of My Eye, The Promise, Tears of Heaven, and others.
