There have been rumors that Teen Mom is officially off the air. Given the fact that it hasn’t had a new episode in the franchise for quite some time, it seems to indicate that this is true. However, one star seems to think differently. Keep reading for what we know so far.
Teen Mom Off The Air?
Teen Mom first aired all the way back in 2009. With 16 and Pregnant airing just 6 months before, fans got to know the cast and fall in love with their little families. The show continued to evolve, with Teen Mom OG, Teen Mom 2, and, most recently, Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. Many of the girls grew up on the show, as did their children.

However, the last episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter came out in May of 2025. The most recent cast featured several of the series icons including:
- Maci Bookout McKinney
- Catelynn Baltierra
- Amber Portwood
- Leah Messer
- Briana DeJesus
- Cheyenne Floyd
- Jade Cline
- Ashley Jones
- Mackenzie McKee
Unfortunately, now, the girls and fans have been left wondering if the show will return or if it’s really cancelled. Now, Cheyenne Floyd is speaking up.
Cheyenne Thinks The Show Will Return
Cheyenne Floyd joined the show in Season 7 all the way back in 2018. She was older than the other girls at 24 when she joined.
Now, according to The Sun, she’s speaking up about the state of the franchise. She seems to think the show isn’t done.
“They still haven’t said that the show is canceled, but they also haven’t said that the show is [being] picked up,” she reveals.
She continues to talk on the matter. Until they let her know the fate of the show, she will keep working on side projects so she can provide for her family while also still sharing her life with the fans.
“I don’t know what’s happening. Until then, I think that we just continue to push forward and do fun projects like this collaboration with SHEIN,” she says.
“This gives us new opportunities and ways to show our family and our journey and to be relatable,” she continues.
It will be interesting to see the fate of the show. Fans seem to love the girls; however, they are all full-blown adults now. This seemingly defeats the whole purpose of the show. Not to mention, fans can still follow their favorite families on social media. Only time will tell what MTV decides to do.
