Inde Navarrette has finally addressed the rumors about her involvement in Heat 2. Navarrette recently appeared on The Kyle Buchanan Show, where she discussed her rise to fame with Obsession and her upcoming projects.
At one point, the host asked Inde whether she had been offered Michael Mann’s Heat 2, to which the actress replied, “No!” Discussing the long-running rumors, Navarrette added, “I’m glad that you brought it up because I can say it. No, I was not offered Heat 2.” The actress revealed that she auditioned for the film and recalled the process.
“I auditioned, I want to say, for two months from April all the way up until I don’t know if it had gotten cast, but it was just kind of no longer a conversation,” Navarrette shared. “I remember I sent in multiple self tapes…I was like, ‘What do you like? What do you not like?’”
She highlighted Heat 2’s “insane cast,” and added that she would have loved to play even a small role in the film. “So definitely didn’t say ‘no’. But I think that’s one of those opportunities where no matter how big you get, you’re still going to get told no,” the actress concluded.
Reported cast members set to star in Michael Mann’s Heat 2 include Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Adam Driver, Jason Clarke, Stephen Graham, and Odessa Young.
