Cheryl Burke may have officially retired from Dancing With The Stars, but she’s still invested and connected to the series. On her podcast, Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans, she invites insiders and former contestants to discuss their opinions and experiences.
Ahead of the Season 33 premiere, Cheryl has been speaking frequently with DWTS reporter Kristyn Burtt. But in a recent episode of the podcast, the women might have shared more than they meant to.
Former Pro Cheryl Burke Accidentally Spills The Beans
Cheryl Burke may not be a pro dancer with DWTS any longer, but many of the pros and insiders still depend on her to keep their secrets. The official Season 33 cast list comes out on September 4, but Cheryl and Kristyn Burtt seem to have leaked some insider information on Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans.
The pro dancers change from year to year. Season 33 will reportedly feature a smaller cast due to budget cuts, meaning the established pros had to really fight for their spots.
Former troupe member Ezra Sosa has reportedly been promoted to a full-time pro while Sasha Farber has been demoted to the troupe, as indicated on the podcast. Cheryl’s listeners heard the exciting news on the show. But they noticed she had conveniently deleted that part of the interview later on.
DWTS Fans React To Getting A New Pro This Year
Of course, Cheryl’s listeners had already heard the big news before she deleted that section of the interview. Word spread like wildfire online.
“SASHA is TROUPE, EZRA is PRO, KOKO is OUT of the season,” one Redditor shared on the platform. “We have a new face in TROUPE. I think Alexis is troupe as well based off what KB said on Cheryl’s podcast the rest of the discussion on pros was mostly Cheryl predicting. UPDATE: Cheryl has reuploaded the episode and the segment on pros has been deleted. Either this was leaked too early and KB told her to delete it ORRR they knew it could be interpreted.”
Other Reddit users went wild over the news. Ezra Sosa has been incredibly popular with viewers for a while now and they’ve been hoping to see him get his own partner.
