Kayla Wallace Is Back As Fiona Miller In ‘Mom’s The Word’
Hallmark has released the WCTH Season 12, Episode 5 “Mom’s The Word” Sneak Peek Video. Right away, Kayla Wallace is there as the inspiring Fiona Miller. Erin Krakow’s Elizabeth is happy to give her a big hug and welcome her back. Also, Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich) gives “Miss Miller” an adorable welcome.
However, Fiona did not return on her own. She found a young heiress, Ava (Tiera Skovbye), who was walking from the station. Worse yet, someone stole “all her things.” Elizabeth is shocked and turns to talk to Ava. She shared that “The same thing happened to me when I first arrived.”
Then, Ava asks, “Are you Elizabeth Thornton?” It turns out, Ava read Elizabeth’s book and she was so inspired that she came to Hope Valley seeking a similar life. Moreover, she wants to be a schoolteacher. What a coincidence!
This story seems to be another mystery. Who stole Ava’s things? Also, how long is Fiona hanging out in Hope Valley. Did she return for a specific reason?
Why Did Kayla Wallace Leave WCTH?
Why did Kayla Wallace leave WCTH? When Hallmark was set to film Season 11, Kayla had a scheduling conflict. She was cast in the new Taylor Sheridan series Landman. Moreover, this was a dream role for Kayla. But, she did make an appearance in the final episode, showing up for Mike (Ben Rosenbaum) and Mei’s (Amanda Wong) wedding.
As for Season 12, she was on set with her husband Kevin McGarry. She had hinted that she would maybe show up on the long-running series. However, Wallace did not reveal how many episodes she would appear in. This could be the only episode, or she could star in several episodes.
No matter what, Hearties are sure to be excited to see Fiona Miller return to Hope Valley.
