Michael W. Conrad and Noah Bailey Present the Terrifying Graphic Novel, The 99 Legs: “Writer Michael W. Conrad (Nightwing) and acclaimed artist Noah Bailey (Diabolical, Station Grand), the creative team behind the hit graphic novels Tremor Dose and Double Walker, reunite for The 99 Legs, their most disturbing collaboration yet. The 99 Legs finds its roots in the duo’s shared appreciation of the Italian Giallo film genre, complete with its leather clad killers, twisting suspense, and the perfect marriage of avant garde and low brow art sensibilities. Together with letterer Kyle Arends, Conrad and Bailey deliver a fright filled original graphic novel that will be released exclusively via Amazon’s Comixology Originals digital content line on November 17, 2026, and will be published in print from Mad Cave Studios on August 3, 2027.
“Noah Bailey has been a critical component of my most significant work as a comics writer,” says writer Michael Conrad. “It’s with Noah that I was able to present my first widely read work, and it’s with him that I have learned the occulted arts of creating stories in this medium. Creating The 99 Legs was challenging at times and Noah was always there encouraging me to let go and trust the process. Together we have made a strange and marvelous book we hope readers will enjoy.”
When a down-on-his-luck crime writer discovers a string of gruesome murders in his area that seem to align with his newest unpublished manuscript, he alerts his agent in the hopes that they can prevent it from being delivered to publishers. Terrified by the turn of events and fearing that the book will implicate him in the crimes, he tries to stop the murders before they happen. What follows is a blood-spattered, spiraling nightmare, as the mystery of the killer’s identity unfolds.
“Michael and I both tried a lot of new things on this book,” says artist Noah Bailey. “But the best thing we did was put our blood, sweat, and tears into every bit of it. Michael wrote the most gorgeous prose, and a story that is terrifying, groundbreaking and inspired. I spent many months without sleep or sunlight, violently carving these pages out, or at least I think it was me. Kyle came in with some beautiful original fonts and made the work complete. And my wonderful coloring assistants, Elisa and Nick, took on the painstaking task of flatting every page.”
The 99 Legs is a must read for fans of the macabre and uncanny tales that Conrad and Bailey have become known for.
Bailey continued, “I think this book is totally different than anything we’ve ever done and I think it’s the best thing we’ve ever done. I’m insanely proud of it, and I am so happy to see it all come together and share it with readers. I can only hope it’ll mean as much to everyone else as it does to us!”

BLACK CHARIOT Reveals New Teaser Ahead of UK Theatrical Run: “Following the exclusive debut of its new teaser with Dread Central, British Horror Studio is bringing its supernatural noir horror Black Chariot to cinemas across the UK this autumn.
Filmed in stark black and white, Black Chariot draws on the visual grammar of post-war noir and supernatural cinema, using shadow, isolation and unease to tell a story shaped by guilt, loss and the threat of something inexplicable.
At its centre is a botched criminal scheme involving three young men and a coveted red case, whose contents pull them deeper into danger. As they move through the woods, the line between pursuit and haunting begins to blur, with a vintage black Wolseley emerging as an increasingly ominous presence in the night.
Directed by Lawrie Brewster and written by Brewster and Sarah Daly, the film stars Laurence R. Harvey (The Human Centipede II), Megan Tremethick, Novarro Ramon, Dorian Todd, Sam McMillan, Richard Pate and Nick Ford.
Audiences will first be able to see Black Chariot at Lumière Cinema Romford, where it will play from October 30 to November 5. The film then heads to The Northern Light Cinema in Sale, Greater Manchester on Friday, November 13, before reaching London with a screening at Peckhamplex on Monday, November 16 at 8:30pm. Additional UK dates to follow.
Speaking about bringing the film to theatres, Brewster said:
“Bringing Black Chariot to cinemas is really about championing the kind of independent horror we believe in. The film was conceived very deliberately around atmosphere, image and tone, and those things inevitably take on a different weight when experienced collectively on a cinema screen. We want to continue creating space for distinctive genre work that benefits from that kind of presentation.”
The release continues the launch programme for British Horror Studio Picture House, the company’s new theatrical distribution arm. The division is intended to bring British Horror Studio productions, associated-label titles and selected independent films to cinema audiences across the UK, with plans in development to extend the model into North America during 2027.
Alongside Black Chariot, the BHS Picture House slate also includes In the Grip of Terror, Spoiling You and Mr Whispers.”

BECROWNED Brings The Nightmare To Consoles With A Darker, Stranger New Trailer: “Top Hat Studios, Inc. and 13th Street Studio brought BECROWNED’s lo-fi nightmare to the Horror Game Awards today with a new trailer, revealing that the surreal horror experience will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in Q1 of 2027.
The new trailer showcases the darker, stranger direction BECROWNED has taken since it was originally announced several years ago. While early impressions drew comparisons to classic staples of the psychological horror genre, the game has since evolved dramatically, now encompassing the lurid atmosphere of 1970s and 1980s grindhouse cinema and the surrealist dark satirical humor of 70s French horror. It is further shaped by unique Russian cultural and literary references that reflect the game director’s unique perspective.
In BECROWNED, players step into the role of Richard Torrance, a self-willed yet deeply dissatisfied man who believes happiness is something to be seized through sheer force of will. However, underneath his domineering mantle lies a gnawing emptiness that no achievement can satisfy. The player will navigate a complex web of Richard’s relationships – both inside and outside of the strange dimension he finds himself in – to determine his ultimate fate.
The more he pursues the simple yet elusive concept of happiness, the further Richard is drawn into bizarre, disturbing, and surreal places that should not exist…but remain very real. As he descends into a nightmarish world where reality and madness begin to blur, his desperate need for control becomes an obsession, forcing him to question whether the greatest threat to his own salvation is himself or those around him.
BECROWNED is scheduled to launch simultaneously across PC and all announced consoles in Q1 2027. The game is currently in development for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).”
