Jerry Jacks in General Hospital has a long history of causing trouble for the Quartermaines, but his past has resurfaced following Jude Jacks’ recent appearance. Jude claimed to be Jerry’s son and Phoebe’s biological father. While Jason and Tracy are finding it hard to believe his claims, they admitted that if he really is who he says he is, it could spell issues for the entire family.
Here’s what Jerry Jacks did to Quartermaines on General Hospital
Jerry Jacks has been a troublemaker in the Quartermaines’ lives, showing up even after his 1999 arrest. At the time, he took on a new identity and collaborated with Lorenzo Alcazar for an arms deal. He sent masked men to retrieve the weapons at the Metro court while holding Emily and Alan as hostages. Things took an unexpected turn when Alan died of a heart attack, and all blame was ultimately placed on Jerry.
He then desperately aimed for Cassadine family fortune, which led him to target Emily and her boyfriend, Nikolas. In 2008, he returned with a plan to kill Sonny Corinthos. But things didn’t turn out in his favor; instead of Sonny, Michael was shot in the head, which sent him into a coma.
Jerry then targeted Jason, and they both fought in a church, which later collapsed. He left Jason to die there and shot him twice so that he couldn’t make it out. Despite Jerry’s best attempts to kill him, Jason ultimately survives.
Jerry’s greed for money continued when he poisoned Port Charles’ water supply and demanded payment from Tracy in exchange for the antidote. However, his scheme eventually cost Edward his life. Later, Jerry demanded a controlling stake in the family business after kidnapping Luke Spencer. While Tracy agreed to give up her shares, Jerry also forced Ned to hand over his. Although he secured the shares, Jerry failed to keep his promise to Tracy and returned her former husband, Larry, and not Luke.
